Wetherspoons In Wales Spice It Up With A Vegan Menu!

Pub chain has stopped serving roast dinners but has revealed a spruced up vegan and vegetarian menu in Wales

Wetherspoons in Wales is catering for vegan customers with a brand new menu just weeks after dropping Sunday roasts.

With a brand new selection for both vegetarians and vegans, the pub chain will cater for those with an alternative diet.

What’s for breakfast?

Bagels and fresh fruit, or you can create your own brekkie with mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans and tomato.

Spot of lunch?

Vegan friendly jacket potatoes and nachos are on offer and for veggies there’s a great deal on small plates, three for £10 - which includes topped chips, nachos, grilled halloumi and soup of the day.

Dinnertime

New items include sweet potato, chick pea and spinach curry, pasta pomodoro for vegans, and veggies can look forward to trying five-bean chilli, Shanghai noodles and salted caramel cheesecake.

Burgers, pub classics and burritos can also be chosen by meat-free lovers.

On their website, John Hutson CEO of Wetherspoons, says: “We know that the Sunday roasts are popular, but the size of our menu has increased, over time, along with the number of meals we serve on Sundays.

“We are keen not to put ourselves in a position where we could start letting customers down with our service and have decided to concentrate on serving from our already-extensive menu.”

You can get the vegan and vegetarian menu at Wetherspoon locations across Wales, including the Prince of Wales and Central Bar in Cardiff city centre.
